Why isn’t the development around Grand Park tied to the actual park? Shops, restaurants, outlet mall maybe? Instead we have 4 apartment complexes being built.
Apparently you are not in real estate development. In order for shops, restaurants and outlet malls to be supported, housing (for-sale and rental) has to be present. Sports tourneys on weekends don’t carry the day for those businesses.
Nursing homes don’t carry the day either.
If you read the mix of residence offerings, it is not a “nursing home”.
Exactly Russell. The fact that he called it a “nursing home” is funny – unfortunately Jason cannot help it that he is uninformed. 120 jobs as this developer stated that this project would bring should be pretty good for shops and restaurants, wouldn’t you think?
Andy Cook screwed the City of Westfield years ago with the Grand Park Build. Now the city is desperately seeking tax revenue to support the shortfalls. Beggers can’t be chosers.
