  1. One change that hopefully comes from this is the removal of the trade shows. With so many different age groups playing in multiple sports the field space, especially during this winer months is ridiculously limited. Nothing like watching 8 teams split one field, while they lay plywood flooring down (happened last night) on one whole field, or fill it with booths. The set up for trade shows takes multiple days and while I understand the ‘money grab’ it is not in the best interest of the athletes that play for the leagues at Grand Park. They need to dedicate 100% to athletics at this complex. With this amount of investment there is no reason they can’ develop a facility/parking lot for trade shows, if that is so important to the community.

  2. Interesting how the amount the vendor is paying in the final agreement went dramatically down from the MOU of a year ago. Bait and switch, just like the failed downtown project.
