Man finds bullet instead of ‘Desire’

An Indianapolis man was shot in the arm Tuesday morning after an online date went awry. Police say 34-year-old Steven Brown arranged to meet a woman named “Desire” through an online chat room called “Chocolate City.” When Brown arrived for the date in the 500 block of Tecumseh Street at about 1 a.m., he was greeted by two men who tried to force him from his car. He was shot before he drove from the scene.
