    1. Charles, True. His bluster about the 1890s ignores the fact that monopolists ruled businesses with an iron fist and exploited labor – immigrants and even children. Those were not good times for the common people.

  1. This program focuses on need, not race. But because Trump has it stuck in his mind only minorities are poor, is the primary reason many cut programs under the current administration are hurting everyone. Not everyone has been handed millions by their father as he has.

  2. When is there going to be a legal blockade ending this illegal closure of Congressionally approved programs? Who died and made DJT King??

  3. The MAGA racists are blaming everything that helps people using DEI, Critical Race Theory and woke as excuses.

There has never been a more racist, divisive, hateful selfish person than DT.

Shame on all you brainwashed cult followers for supporting him.

  4. No, I think it will be “The UnWoke Right”, or perhaps more accurately “The Comatose Right”.
As the article notes, a lot of this money is going to rural areas, where “home school” during the Pandemic was not possible because there wasn’t enough bandwidth in the small town for small businesses, let alone a few hundred school children. And in larger citiesthere are similar problems. May be one of the better federal programs in years…bringing not only the tech but also the knowledge on how to use the tech to areas of this country that otherwise won’t see it, allowing these folks to benefit from these amazing advances.

  5. I am sure, AP has the story wrong. These stories pop up, with wrong details. Then we find out the same money is being spent twice by 2 different departments.
