I can’t find fault with the developers of the southwest parcel of land at 86th & Meridian [Developers skipped permits, Aug. 15].
That property is standing in water most of the year and they simply would not be able to drain and develop it without clearing it. Most of those trees were dead and their clearing it selectively would have been a monumental task.
The Nora Community Council had a similar requirement for the development of 1 West, across the street. It is a mess. I’m glad that a suitable business was interested in that land and bought it. It’s an asset to our neighborhood.
Get off their backs and let’s hope for an attractive building.
