LETTER: Columnist pulls ‘woe is me’ trick

If I am reading Mary Dieter’s column correctly [Dieter: Trump win devalues women, minorities and America, Nov. 21], because of the deplorables voting for the candidate that was not her candidate, she finds it necessary to pull the “woe is me, I am a woman and that is why I cannot get ahead.”

Her column is a disgrace to the millions of voters who believed that Hillary Clinton should not be the next president of the United States. When she worries that the country is headed for a new civil war and she is not convinced it will survive, my answer to that is: what nonsense!
