  1. Ticket prices are obscene. The game is now just one big party for corporate barons and the wealthy. Don’t be surprised if Trump swoops in to bask in the limielight.

    1. Proof there is no topic that those affected with TDS can’t relate. I Donnie in the room now Brent?

    2. Hilarious, but no surprise that Brent has no grasp of supply and demand. Will Snoop Dogg and Beyoncé be basking at the big party? Since wealthy people Bad! are you mad at them too?

  2. Who cares if he does, so what? If Joey Biden and Camela were still in their do-nothing positions, they would be basking in the limelight. It’s Capitalism, greed and likely organized crime…..maybe even the likes of drug cartels. The NCAA no longer controls college sports. Athletes and college athletic departments are the big money winners with the Portal controlling who plays where and NIL big bucks payola paid to athletes.

    1. The colleges created the problem via their own organization – the NCAA – and now profess they need the federal government to solve the issue. No, the issue is the colleges.

Athletes, especially in sports with billion dollar TV deals, deserve to get paid far more than a “college scholarship” in which they worked nearly year round at their sport and were hence limited in what kind of classes they could take.

  3. Weird place to get political, but I do hope Trump is a no-show — no reason for him to stick his orange mug into this great event too. Let’s enjoy the moment and memory of this great season, focus on the game and the kids. Don’t need yet another DJT distraction. (as per some of the above posts!!) As for ticket prices, it’s what the market bears and people pay for. I was in ATL for the Peach Bowl — had a blast. It was not cheap but not that expensive. Tickets for this are out of my price range but it IS the National Championship and Miami being in this has likely jacked up prices even more.

  4. If trump does attend, he’ll most likelye be rooting for Miami for two reasons:
    1. He’s a Floridian.
    2. He’s mad at Mike Braun for not being able to get the 2026 mid term election rigging done.
