Hensley Legal Group is proud to be bringing Backpacks 4 Good back for the sixth year in a row, once again providing fully stocked backpacks to students throughout Indiana.
Giving Children the Tools for Classroom Success
Since its launch in 2021, Backpacks 4 Good has handed out more than 50,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to young Hoosiers in need, and this summer we are handing out 10,000 more.
Each backpack is available completely free of charge and contains:
- Two pocket folders
- Classic No. 2 pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- Pencil pouch
- Crayons
- Glue stick
- 5″ scissors
- Water bottle
“The economic pressures that working families face seem to get worse every year,” explained HLG Founder John Hensley. “Backpacks 4 Good is our way of ensuring that parents never have to choose between putting food on the table and giving their children the tools for classroom success.”
Four In-Person Events Open to the Public
To meet the enthusiastic response that Backpacks 4 Good always enjoys, Hensley is scheduling four in-person events that will be open to the public, including South Bend’s first-ever Backpacks 4 Good, presented in partnership with the South Bend Cubs. This year’s giveaways will be held on:
