  1. “Rounding up or down.” We all know retailers will round up so let’s not even try that one. So now when there’s a price increase we can expect an up-to 5% jump in prices all at once. If people thought inflation was bad…

  2. I agree that pennies are a waste of government resources, but the whole situation is is typical of Trump. This was a fiat announcement by a wannabe autocrat, bypassing the usual debate (and legal process) in Congress (further enabling the current partisan split) and now everyone is scrambling on the backend it’s either going to cost businesses or consumers more in the long run.

    It’s another hidden tax all in the name to save a just $56 just million.
