Thinking optimistically here: at least Dems will never have to entertain Republicans sanctimonious posturing about being the party of limited government and freedom ever again. Unfortunately, they won’t have the self awareness to not try to continue this posturing.
So if a teacher says storming the Capitol and beating cops on January 6th 2021 was justified, does that now count as a fireable offense since political violence is now bad?

So little mike is going to use the big boy power of the gubment to strip licenses and livelihoods from teachers for potential abuses of their free speech rights? Is there some kind of ground swell of teachers “celebrating” political violence? Is there an unseen danger from all this self-expression run amok?? This is nothing more than a continuation of the war on education in Indiana. It’s a contrived notion that if we silence those nasty little teachers with their nasty little opinionses, we’ll get to bask in all of that America made great again. As Michael says above, this is the modern republican party, self-proclaimed champions of Constitutional Rights and a mandate for smaller government – until it conflicts with conservative values. Can’t say for sure, but maybe this warrants some new hiring? A nasty opinions task force?
I respect the IBJ and its readers so I usually try to be thoughtful with my comments. However Mike Braun, Todd Rokita and Jim Banks have made me just want to scream!
How have these 3 very mediocre while guys risen to control what used to be the GOP?

Sadly no. I’m a lifelong Republican but this current band of idiot RINOs bear no resemblance to the party of Reagan to which I subscribed.
