  1. Healthcare? What has been accomplished bring down costs or improve access? It seems that Congress is more concerned about maintaining seats rather than responding to needs of constituents. This leads one to ask if term limits should be implemented.

    1. Retrumplicans have been promising a health care plan ever since their dear leader rode down the escalator in 2015, and we’re all still waiting to see it.

    2. Derek and Thomas— would your term limits also apply to Elizabeth Warren and Andre Carson?
Everyone likes to say Term Limits! until it’s their party/person.
I don’t think it will ever happen. No elected person on the taxpayer teat is ever going to limit their personal gravy train. We already can apply “term limits” at the polls, but people in a single party district (Saint Andre) benefit from incumbent name recognition and de facto party support and the people saying term limits!! elect them over and over

  2. Great news about J.D. Ford filing to run for Congress in the 5th District. He is a solid, sensible leader who brings a record of being able to appeal across the aisle. Best news of the week!

  3. I am certain I vehemently disagree with most of Ford’s ideas, but Spartz needs to be fired. She flip flopped on running again (that taxpayer teat is very tasty) but her recent statement should disqualify her. “We will soon face significant fiscal challenges”. Soon?!? And referencing people with “corrupt personal agendas” in the same sentence as supporting Trump, makes her a poster child for stupidity
