IBJ Media—and its brands Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business and Indiana Lawyer—are searching for the most influential executives across the state in different economic sectors to name to our inaugural Indiana 250 list.
We are looking for people who are influential statewide or in Indiana communities or regions. When we use the word “influential,” we mean that others in the state, community or an industry look to the individual for leadership. That could be a CEO of a major company or organization—but it’s important to note that no executive is guaranteed to make the list. We know that other people within an organization can be particularly influential, visionary and impactful. We are looking for those people who are making the biggest difference for Indiana’s economy and for Hoosiers.
We need your help. Please take a few minutes to nominate individuals you admire for the Indiana 250 list.
Nominations will be reviewed by the publisher and editors at Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business and Indiana Lawyer. Current elected officials are not eligible. We won’t choose more than three people from any one organization, and we also won’t be limited to those who were nominated. Advertising will not influence the selections. We plan to consult informally with business and community leaders from across the state as well as experts in various industries as we put together the list. But the decisions—which we acknowledge will be subjective—will be made within IBJ Media.
The list will be announced at an event in July, at IBJ Media’s websites and published in Indianapolis Business Journal and Indiana Lawyer.
