  1. Why did they waste so much money on developing Lugar plaza when they knew that the CCB was going to be history in a number of years and all the work wasted? Seems like an abuse of funds to me! Please tell me they aren’t considering destroying the new bus complex which also sits in that footprint.

  2. If the “bus terminal” is subject to market forces it won’t be there long. The concept of “mass” transit was a great idea in say 1920, but a strategic disaster in the digital age of infinite customization. Eventually, driverless vehicle pods will provide door to door service for those who Millennial city planners ban from using personal cars. In the meantime, we would have been much better off with a fleet of jitneys providing door to door service along regular base routes. The entire “Mass” Transit scheme is a fraud on the public and a monument to stupidity.
