Mr. Leppert, I agree we need to make stupid people in Indiana even dumber. Despite the tax money states like Colorado haul in, they are reaching a point of lost or no returns. If we discourage cigarette smoking why should smoking marijuana get a break? Have you ever spoken to someone who ate a gummy? it is nearly impossible. In a way, I agree with you, In the last 55 years, I’ve smoked pot daily, except maybe a month out of that entire time. I enjoy it. It takes me a week to smoke a joint. I know my limits. I may have been smarter without it, but regret is not productive. I do not consider these new products to be the same. Go ahead, put a bowl of gummy out on the table for your grandchildren. We don’t currently put people in jail for smoking cigarettes, even though we are trying to discourage smoking since it is bad for our health. So not exactly a great comparison. Legalizing marijuana doesn’t necessarily mean that more people are going to use it.
