Eli Lilly and Co. announced today that CEO John Lechleiter will also gain the additional title of chairman on Jan. 1.
Lechleiter will replace Sidney Taurel, who is retiring.
Lechleiter took over for Taurel as CEO on April 1. Lilly directors today also named Taurel as chairman emeritus.
