U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar isn’t interested in becoming secretary of state in the administration of President-elect Barack Obama, according to an MSNBC report today.
Nor is Lugar interested in any other position in Obama’s cabinet, the report said.
However, a spokesman for Lugar, who serves on the Foreign Relations Committee, said he was looking forward to working with Obama and his vice president, Joe Biden.
