Comcast shifts 35 positions to Fishers

Telephone, Internet and television provider Comcast has closed its Anderson call center and moved nearly all of the 39 jobs to its expanding call center in Fishers.

Comcast also is closing three other call centers in the state in order to concentrate on locations in Fishers, Fort Wayne and Bloomington, according to The Herald Bulletin of Anderson.

The reshuffling will allow Comcast to improve technology at the remaining locations, the company told the newspaper.
