Newman Equipment Inc., a southwest-side company that sells parts and services for excavators and material handlers, has been acquired by Reco Equipment Inc. of Morristown, Ohio, for an undisclosed price.
The name of the Indianapolis company, which has five mechanics and trucks, has been changed to Reco.
The deal adds central Indiana to Reco’s footprint, which includes all of Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
