Man dies after west-side shooting

Police are interviewing three people they think were involved in a deadly shooting
Sunday night on the near-west side of Indianapolis. The shooting happened on North Alton Avenue near 18th Street about 10
p.m. The victim died a few minutes after being taken to the hospital. Officers detained two men and a woman, but aren’t releasing
anymore details. “Apparently the witness heard the shot and saw what they thought was trash being dumped out of a green
Jeep-type vehicle, but it was actually the body of a man,” Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Sgt. Paul Thompson said.
Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
