Leader of Fishers chamber stepping down

Christi Wolf, the veteran leader of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce, is leaving the organization at the end of the month after serving 13 years as president and CEO.

The chamber announced the departure Friday morning but did not provide details on Wolf’s future plans.

“I have been waiting for the right time when the chamber had a clear and strategic direction, with no major changes on the horizon, to make a personal and professional change,” Wolf said in the prepared statement.

The chamber’s board of directors will meet to discuss finding a successor, a chamber spokesperson said.

Bill Lutz, chairman of the chamber board, thanked Wolf for her years of service to the organization.

“I am so pleased that we had Christi’s guidance over the last 13 years,” he said in a written statement. “Through her efforts, the chamber has grown beyond what we thought possible.”

The chamber is Fishers primary business advocate and has about 750 members.
