The arrangement is part of a new newsgathering partnership between IBJ and the local Fox affiliate.
“We are looking forward to an ongoing relationship with Fox 59. In our discussions, we were impressed by management of the organization and their commitment to news,” IBJ Publisher Chris Katterjohn said.
“One of the reasons we liked Channel 59 was because they have an audience that skews a little toward young people, and we are interested in cultivating that audience for IBJ and its related products.”
WXIN General Manager Jerry Martin said the station was “pleased to be aligned with … one of America’s finest business publications. We believe the partnership will enhance both IBJ’s and Fox 59’s local news coverage.”
WISH-TV Channel 8 previously provided general news and weather for IBJ Daily.
