Man charged with setting his home on fire


An area man has been charged with arson in the fire that blew up his Alexandria home. September’s blaze left 20-year-old
Derek Noland severely burned. Noland admitted he burned the house down because of "too many bad memories," according
to investigators. At least five nearby homes were damaged by the fire.
