University of Indianapolis names new business dean

The University of Indianapolis has given its interim business school dean the job outright, the private college announced
Wednesday.

Sheela N. Yadav, a specialist in supply chain and engineering management, has been leading UIndy’s
business school as interim dean since July 2008. She joined UIndy in 2005 after stints at the Indiana Institute of Technology
and the University of Wisconsin.

Yadav hopes to expand UIndy’s relationships with local businesses as well
as the school’s faculty-student exchange program with China’s Ningbo Institute of Technology.
