Heater suspected of starting hotel fire

A heater may be to blame for a fire at a hotel on the east side of Indianapolis that began either late Sunday night or early Monday morning, according to investigators. The fire broke out in a second-story room at the Budget Inn East near 21st  Street and Shadeland Avenue. Damage was contained to that room, according to crews, and no injuries were reported.
