An Indiana lawmaker continues to push for a bill to ban smoking in most public places in the Hoosier state, despite expected
resistance from Senate leadership. State Rep. Charlie Brown authored the most recent smoking ban bill, which was watered down

a letter Monday to state senators, urging them to remove those exemptions and pass a comprehensive ban. The bill faces long
odds in the Senate.
