A 30-year Pendleton police officer is off the job, possibly for letting an impaired driver stay on the road. Dashboard-camera
video shows patrolman Mike Moore pulling over a driver who failed sobriety tests, then apparently letting the man take his
car back on the road. Pendleton Police Chief Marc Farrer informed the town safety board last month that he had suspended Moore,
saying the officer jeopardized the town’s safety. The board meets again for a hearing Thursday requested by Moore after
the board moved to terminate him Feb. 25. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
