A man armed with an ice pick or screwdriver attacked a Brookside Park-area resident during a home-invasion robbery early
this morning on the near-east side of Indianapolis. The man was taking out the trash in the 2900 block of Brookside Avenue
about 1 a.m. when the assailant forced him back into his residence. The victim was tied up with a phone cord and wrap-style
bandaging, and stabbed in his face, neck, leg and foot. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
