Nordstrom Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores at a minimum of 50 percent off original prices, along with apparel, accessories and shoes bought specifically for the discount stores.
The Nordstrom spinoff already has 75 locations in 21 states and has announced plans to add more than 30 new stores by 2012. The Rack stores typically are located near existing full-price Nordstrom stores.
The Seattle-based company has not yet announced the plans for an Indianapolis store on its website.
