First job: Dhani ran footbasket.com, a successful sports blog he started at age 12. He interviewed NFL, NBA and NCAA athletes, attended major sports events as credentialed media and negotiated contracts with sponsors and brands.
Givebacks: Pro bono work helping families fix immigration problems, helping elders with estate planning and assisting community members in bringing loved ones to the United States.
Something surprising: “I’ve long been a passionate sneaker collector. In high school and college, I ran a side hustle reselling rare sneakers and limited-edition streetwear. Another surprising fact: I was born with six fingers on my left hand. It was removed at birth, but I still have the scar as a fun reminder and conversation starter.”
In 10 years … : “I see myself having successfully exited several of the companies I’m helping build today. I anticipate Dhani Law will still be running, but I may be leading or launching new ventures in health care, tech or even sports law.”

Josh Singh Dhani oversees all immigration filings for clients at VisaMadeEZ, an immigration law firm. He also helps manage the company’s finances and oversees the legal technology and software systems that power the organization’s operations. “I find any fixes and ways to improve it so we are ahead of the curve and making our jobs more efficient,” he said. In addition to his role at VisaMadeEZ, he serves as legal counsel and business partner across various companies his family operates. Dhani began as a technology and IT intern at VisaMadeEZ while completing his undergraduate studies at Indiana University. He also supported his father’s staffing business, which focused on international nurses and therapists. Frustrated with the inefficiencies and high costs of outside law firms handling immigration filings, he asked his internal IT team to develop a more streamlined solution. That led to the early version of what is now VisaMadeEZ’s proprietary software. Among his recent accomplishments was helping several nurses who were on expiring H-1B or F-1 status avoid deportation by facilitating job placements and securing legal status transfers.•
