All 55 employees of Indianapolis-based MHP Pharmacy LLC will lose their jobs Aug. 2 as a result of its acquisition by In Touch Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Valparaiso.
In Touch notified the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on Friday that it has purchased MHP Pharmacy, a mail-order pharmaceutical company, and will close its facility at 10330 N. Meridian St.
MHP Pharmacy, operating as Freedom Pharmacy, was founded in 2004. In Touch Pharmaceuticals began operating in 2003.
