Officials with the Hamilton County Humane Society say overcrowding at the shelter has reached crisis levels. The shelter’s
capacity is 330 animals. It’s now housing 400 dogs and cats. Stacked crates line the hallways and fill the lobby and
offices. The shelter hasn't had to euthanize a cat or dog due to space limitations in five years but might have to consider
it if it remains over capacity.
