Tax hike could be up for a vote in Zionsville

June 14, 2010

Zionsville residents could soon be asked to vote on a tax levy to increase school funding. The school district’s superintendent plans to ask the school board Monday night to approve putting a referendum on November’s ballot. The money is needed to support the district's general operating budget. If the board votes for the idea, leaders will decide how much of a tax increase to seek.
