Bargersville Police officer Zach Elliott has been suspended after Trafalgar police arrested him for allegedly driving an
all-terrain vehicle while intoxicated on his father-in-law’s property on Saturday afternoon. Elliott, who failed a field
sobriety test, reportedly told police that he drank six or seven beers before driving the ATV down a ravine and flipping it.
John Adams, a passenger, was pinned under the upturned vehicle and suffered a broken hip. Bargersville authorities will consider
whether Elliott should be fired, possibly within the next several days. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
