The Carmel Arts & Design Cultural District has been named a state-certified cultural district by the Indiana Arts Commission under a non-funded initiative passed by the Indiana General Assembly in 2008. For more information about the Cultural Districts project, visit the IAC website at www.in.gov/arts.

Rolls-Royce received $16 million from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration’s Continuous Lower Energy, Emissions & Noise Technologies Programme.

International Violin Competition of Indianapolis received a total of $3,500 from the Arthur Jordan Foundation and the Penrod Society.
