A charter bus carrying 46 members of a school band crashed into a van downtown just after 8 a.m. Friday, sending the van’s
driver and a passenger to the hospital. None of the students were hurt in the crash on Pennsylvania Street, just south of
Market Street. The charter bus was transporting students from the University of Wisconsin to the Drum Corps International
competition taking place this weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium.
