Indianapolis-based Van Rooy Properties has purchased the 438-unit Westminster Apartments in Greenwood, Tikijian Associates said on Friday.
Tikijian, an Indianapolis-based broker of multifamily properties, represented seller Barrett & Stokely Inc., also of Indianapolis. Barrett & Stokely was the court-appointed receiver of the property.
The listing price was $8.2 million, and the property generated more than 25 offers.
Van Rooy owns or manages about 10,000 apartment units and 250,000 square feet of office and retail space.
