More Hoosier voters are getting their ballots turned in early and avoiding those Election Day lines. In Marion County, more than 15,000 people had already voted as of Thursday morning. That's ahead of the 2006 midterm election, when fewer than 14,000 people voted before Election Day. Statewide, more than 87,000 people have cast their ballots at clerk's offices and satellite voting locations.
