Fundraising Results
United Way of Central Indiana received $106,000 from Stanley Security Solutions as a result of its annual United Way campaign.

Down Syndrome Indiana raised over $190, 000 during its 13th annual Buddy Walk.

Gleaners Food Bank received 13,230 pounds of canned goods, dry goods and bottled water, plus $5,000 from Peerless Pump Co.

Down Syndrome Indiana received $1,500 from the Samerian Foundation.

Gleaners Food Bank received $50,000 from the Kroger Central Division and Kraft Foods.

Seventeen central Indiana organizations received a total of $1.6 million from the Central Indiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Seven Indiana organizations received a total of $33,000 from the Indiana Humanities Council.

The Rapunzel Project received $50,000 from Kenra Professional.

In Recognition
Marc A. Glazier was granted fellowship into the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

AdvantaClean was on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2011 Franchise 500 list.

Cassie Anderson received the Most Outstanding Member Award from IndyCREW.

Jane Butler received the Donna M. Hovey Award from IndyCREW.

The Carmel Chamber awarded the following: Ritz Charles, Applause Award; Rich Taylor, NBI Carmel Banking Center, Most Valuable Volunteer; Keystone Parkway and The Palladium, Special Awards; Yeager Properties and J. C. Hart Co., Look Awards; and Carmel Clay Schools, Green Award.

The Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention received the 2010 Slater Bartlow Award from the Indiana Rehabilitation Association.

St. Francis Heart Center received a Gold Award from the CardioVascular Advertising Awards program.

Heartland Truly Moving Pictures awarded the following: Marsh Supermarkets, Persistence of Vision Award; Louise Henderson, President’s Volunteer Award; Sandy Pagano, Paul and Marie Sparks Volunteer Award; Opening Night Event committee, Spirit Award; and Bob Dietrich, Judy Hoban, Melinda Humphrey and Doug Sherow, Heartland Service Award.

Ena Shelley received the Outstanding Educator of the Year award from the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents.•
