PROGRAMS
Classes: Started during the Great Depression to provide employment for working artists, the art center contracts with 125 professional artists as faculty to teach about 900 classes, workshops and samplers each year to students of all ages and abilities. Exhibitions: contracts with more than 200 professional artists from around the country and within the state for 50 exhibitions a year; consigns artwork for a gift shop Outreach: serves 5,000 residents living in underserved areas through seven different outreach programs
