Boy hit, tied up in home invasion

February 21, 2011

A Hamilton County mother and father came home Saturday afternoon to find their teenage son tied up in a closet and bleeding from the head after a home-invasion robbery. The family, who lives on Greenfield Avenue in suburban Noblesville, called for help about 2 p.m. after discovering their 17-year-old, who said the suspect forced his way into the home after knocking at the back door. The boy told police he was hit with a metal object before being confined. The robber got away with some coins and costume jewelry.
