Horizon House is really making a difference and needs to be supported by our community for their good work.
One key point you made points out poignantly that many homeless folks are good people with jobs and the desire to get their lives back together. So many factors can enter into why someone becomes homeless.
As a community, we need to understand and recognize the variety of reasons and know that there are decent people homeless and needing help. Great article, Mickey! Hopefully it will awaken the conscience of Indianapolis.
