A man accused of killing a Broad Ripple woman in October 2007 was sentenced Thursday to 88 years in prison, including 65 years for murder, 20 years for burglary and three years for abusing a corpse. Nathan Anderson, 22, was found guilty earlier this month of killing 44-year-old Jane Pepper. Anderson climbed through a window in Pepper’s apartment and stabbed her to death with her kitchen knives. Anderson was arrested in Texas in March 2009 after investigators matched his DNA from a prior conviction with evidence found at the crime scene.
