State Police say a woman was killed Wednesday after her husband fell asleep behind the wheel of a doughnut-delivery truck, flipping the vehicle. The accident happened about 4:30 a.m. on the west side of Indianapolis on the southbound ramp to Interstate 465 from eastbound I-74. The driver's wife was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
