Helmer consolidates at Saxony
Noblesville’s Saxony Corporate Campus has landed a life sciences firm. Helmer Inc., which manufactures and distributes laboratory equipment, has moved into a new 72,000-square-foot headquarters there.
Founded in 1977, Helmer had been spread across four buildings in Noblesville.
Its new headquarters, off Interstate 69’s Exit 10, features 52,000 square feet of flexible manufacturing space and 20,000 square feet of office space. The facility also has 14,000 square feet available for future expansion. Helmer’s goods are used in the refrigeration, storage and processing of blood products and pharmaceuticals.
Helmer invested $1.6 million in technical infrastructure and advanced manufacturing equipment. It recently added 20 employees and is seeking eight more, which will bring its head count to 142.
