Indianapolis detectives are investigating a homicide that took place Tuesday night on the north side of the city. An unidentified man sitting inside a vehicle near Central Avenue and 30th Street was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his back about 7:15 p.m. He later died at the hospital. Investigators determined the victim was shot at 33rd and Broadway streets before traveling to Central and 30th.
