The first measurable snowfall of the season is expected to begin Tuesday afternoon between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Forecasters are predicting about 1 inch to 3 inches of accumulation in the downtown Indianapolis area. Areas north of the city could see up to 5 inches. Roads might get slushy before worsening overnight as temperatures fall into the 20s. The snow is expected to end by Wednesday morning rush hour.
