Two men drove a stolen sport-utility vehicle through the front door of a Greenwood gun store early Wednesday and made off with firearms, police said. Russ Elmore, owner of Elmore's Firearms on State Road 135, said the incident was captured on surveillance video. The men spent 38 seconds in the store at about 2:45 a.m. before fleeing with a semi-automatic rifle, a handgun and a silencer. Their attempts to take more weapons were unsuccessful, because the guns were locked down. The stolen weapons are worth about $10,000, and damage to the building is estimated at $25,000.
