Indiana State Police drug enforcement officers captured an estimated $900,000 worth of marijuana from a truck traveling on Interstate 70 in Hancock County at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. A trooper pulled over a 2001 Chevrolet pickup driven by Joseph Ground of Hollis, Maine, for a routine traffic violation. The truck was searched after the officer observed indicators and odors consistent with marijuana use. Dozens of bags of high-quality hydroponic pot were hidden within large speakers located among musical instruments in the truck's bed.
