Authorities said Monday night that Aliahna Lemmon had been found dead. Family friend Mike Plumadore, 39, who was watching Aliahna and her two sisters when she went missing Friday, was being held on a murder charge. Police said Plumadore told investigators on Monday he bludgeoned the girl to death with a brick, then dismembered her with a hacksaw. He stuffed her remains into freezer bags and hid some at his trailer and some at a nearby business.
