Noblesville police confirmed they found human remains near the Mississinewa River in Grant County on Thursday, but haven’t confirmed whether the remains belong to missing Hamilton County grandmother Dorothy Heard, 74. The Grant County coroner arrived at the scene Friday morning and will identify the remains if possible. Heard was last seen June 13. Her 47-year-old nephew, Donald Burns, is a suspect in her disappearance. Family members say they believe the remains are Heard’s.
